Default Memory leak in EuControl 2.5.7

I am using EuControl 2.5.7 on Windows 7 (64 bit) with Cubase 6.0.1 (64 bit).

On my typical project, when I start a session EuControl takes up about 60 MBytes in memory. When I press play in Cubase, memory usage of EuControl increases at the rate of 0,25 Mbytes / second. This is 1 MB in 4 seconds or 2.2 GBytes in a typical 2 hour session.

I need to restart the system in order to reduce memory usage of EuControl.

When I forget to restart the system after 3 hours, EuControl can cause a system crash in the middle of a live performance.

Avid, how are the chances to see a fix for this? Last post I have seen is many weeks old, saying "still investigating". Did I purchase the wrong brand? We have planned to purchase additional Artist series products but put the project on hold until this issue is solved.

Regards, Mikael
