Where are you, there's lots of places up here that stock them.

But back to the OP's question for decent inexpensive bedroom monitors for around $300 - great choice on the JBL 305's !!!
I was asking because from what I heard in store they sounded very mid-ish but I wasn't in a position to be able to measure them in that noisy environment. And yes Iloud, wonder why I wrote Icloud... LOL

This was your first mistake - dealing with GC. I never buy anything more than strings from them.

B&H is stellar; been dealing with them for years. Do be aware though that the business is run by Jewish people and they are strict in that not only they but the store follows Sabbath rules so they shut down on Friday afternoon and don't reopen until Saturday evening. The website stays up and you can put stuff in your cart but that's it. You can't actually pay until after the Sabbath.

You really should take a look at Sweetwater for these. Their tech support is pretty darn good.

Sweetwater may not deliver in Canada due to distribution sectors. I know they couldn't Deliver my Genelec's so I got them at Studio Economik. There's other online stores that I have listed above that do hold those and deliver across Canada.
