Second - is there a shortcut for changing the nudge value to and from triplets/dotted as well?

There are "secret" key commands not documented in the PT Shortcuts Guide as far as I can see.

On the Mac...

[Control]+[Option]+[Command] and [-] on the numerical keypad = Triplet Grid
[Control]+[Option]+[Command] and [+] on the numerical keypad = Dotted Grid

Dunno about the PC sorry.
