Default Using Templates

In PTLE 6.7 I am trying to make sessions easier. I know there is a thread out there somewhere on this topic. Can someone point me in the direction?

In Sonar I had a midi template, Midi+audio, and Audio only template. I also had the plugs set-up for these templates. I would open one up save as (new session name) and get after it.

Do you guys also have redundant session EQ, Rev, Gate and comp settings?

Thanks

Default Re: Using Templates

Start by creating a session with all the tracks and assignments you want(set for your desired sample rate/bit depth and enforce mac/pc compatibility if its there) and save it somewhere easy to find. When its closed, right-click on it>select properties?select "read only". Now you won't mess it up by accident. When you want to start a new session, create a new session on your audio drive with the same sample rate/bit depth>name it and hit enter to open. Now go to File>Import Session Data>select your template session and hit enter. Your new session will now have all the settings/tracks/plugins of the template.
