OT : TV monitors on top of HR824
I have purchased a 13in Color TV for my control room to view my Lorex camera system which monitors 5 areas in and outside the studio...the only place to be able to notice any suspicious activity is to place the monitor on top of my HR 824 which are laying on their sides, but I wonder will the speakers magnet damage the tv.
Any response is welcomed!!! |

The HR824 are shielded so you shouldn't have a problem... however I would recommend getting a small LCD monitor - it's lighter and you wont have to worry about your speakers.

I was thought about the LCD but i thought that they might fall off the speaker from the vibration the 13 inch seeem a lil more sturdier!!

Re: OT : TV monitors on top of HR824
I also have HR824, I would suggest not to lay them on their sides (if you can avoid it) because it's not good for accurate stereo image representation, that's why even old school guys are using the NS10m upright these days.

We're "old school NS-10 guys" and have no problems with imaging with the NS-10's on their sides.
