Default Control 24 main monitors phasing/dropping hf

This is a problem that seems to be random, not caused by anything predictable or repeatable. It happens in both speakers, but never at the same time. It seems like the high frequencies are dropping out occasionally on one speaker or another, or randomly phasing. it usually only happens momentarily and then comes back or occasionally the dropout lasts for a few seconds. It's annoying and I want to fix it. I haven't noticed it on my alt monitors yet either.

Maybe DigiTech support will chime in

Has anybody else had this same problem? I have owned this board since new and have been very happy with it up until now, actually I remain happy with it so I just need to correct the problem. I would like to know a) if anybody has dealt with this. B) what the problem was/is. C) what needs to be done to fix this.

I'm hoping it may just be a harness issue or at worst some failing caps, but I wanted to check here before I opened it up.

I'm still having this problem, it occurs on the main and aux monitor channels and it's getting worse. Has no one ever dealt with anything similar?

I had a problem with random Hissing on my main monitors only and a random imbalance between the L & R speakers. I replaced the monitor control board and it has been OK ever since. I suspect this board is the cause of your problems too.

The problem is that the audio is digitally controlled and routed between the 192 output and the speaker outputs.

The board was not easy to replace and required so much other stuff to be removed to get to it, but if you are confident/competent at this sort of thing and take lots of pictures as you disassemble it then you'll be fine.

I Hope this helps

Plug your monitors directly into the Omni and although you'll have no control over the volume or main/alt monitor switching, you'll find its fine.
This will prove its within the Control24.
