Default Downgrade to Mac 10.7.4 worth the trouble

To whom it may concern, FYI:

After enduring several weeks with an unhappy marriage between Mac OS 10.8.2 and Pro Tools 10.3.2, I reverted the Mac back to 10.7.4 (reportedly the highest Mac OS qualified by Avid).

What a hassle! But man, Pro Tools is BACK! No choking, sputtering, freezing, kernel panics, etc. Mt. Lion has so many background processes (notifications, etc.) it's no wonder Pro Tools was unhappy. I can only imagine how much work might go into getting those two to work together.

Lesson learned. I am officially off the early OS upgrade adopters list. :)
