Default Digi001 in 5 yummy flavors?

Not exactly a critical feature, but I heard that the front face plate of the 001 would come in different colors. I've yet to see or hear further evidence of this. Anybody else see/hear anything? My mixes will sound better with the Lime one, I just know it!

(By the way, spiffy Flash make-over on the website, Digi )

I hope this is true, i'd like to see a
graphite face plate to match the new G4s.

...and, I dreamed that the face plates were interchangable, to replace this "Oh Boy! blue" with the color of my choice, to match my many moods.

There should be a metal face plate available as an option. The plastic one with the blue sticker on it looks cheep an nasty (most disapointing).

Aluminium 001 polished face plate would look dope ontop of the Focusrite Compounder.

Way to resurrect and ancient post huh?!

But seriously, does anyone know someplace that might still have these things laying around? I'm still using my Digi001, and I figured that maybe I could find a colored faceplate for sale someplace. (red, green, orange, whatever). There must have been a ton made, but I imagine very little sold.

It's not THAT long ago I saw them in the Digistore, when I looked now I couldn't find them though. You could call them, they might have some left somewhere... Otherwise the places where you'd find small outdated stuff is local stores in small alleys. Good luck.
