Default Why must it sleep so much? G4 Powermac need coffee

Is there anyway to keep this thing from going to sleep?
I've disabled all the energy-saver features, tried removing the extention, played with all the settings and nothing can keep this beast awake.

Any advice?

Are you using any usb extension/repeaters? I had an issue where my G4 would snooze with usb extension cables for the keyboard and monitor.. upgraded to Startech repeater cables and now it stays awake. The new problem now is that I can't shut it down. It restarts everytime. But that's way better than having it sleep randomly.

Thx gus, I've been trying to record some really stretched out new-age suff, but I switched to the Ramones and it perked right up again.

In case anybody has this prob,

I set all the energy saver sliders to 'never' dumped the prefs, emptied the trash and rebooted, now its fine. I was concerned because I've heard stories about people being unable to turn off the sleep settings, which sounds pretty stupid.

I'm running OS 9.2
