Default Error when trying to download installers from Avid Account

Hi !!

I have a problem with my download section in Avid Account.

I'm trying to download the latest version of my protools 11 academic because i want to instal mavericks. But wen y tray to do it the download manager have an error, says this:

Download manager fatal error

- An irrecoverable error has occurred !!!!!

I'm trying to download other thinks to may download products and says the same.

Someone can help me?? Really thanks guys!!!

I had that problem too. Something wierd about Java. There is a line that says "if you don't want to use Download Manager click here". I clicked there and all was well. Something odd about either Java or the Download Manager.

The download manager has never worked for me; always bypass it. And that's in both Firefox 15 and latest Safari on OSX ML.

It is seriously the most ridiculous thing ever. Java seems to be so outlandishly outdated as a viable, reliable technology for downloads. So many sites that used to use it have moved on to another system and thank heavens for it. Avid, please get the [bleep][bleep][bleep][bleep] away from Java.
