Firewire Connectivity Lost

Hi,

Have been using LE on my notebook for a short while without problems.

Over the weekend I started having connectivity problems with the 002r.

Have been successfully using notebook's firewire port -- now all the sudden trouble. (disconnects approx every half hour). I know it's not an approved port, but has been working fine till now.

It might be as simple as replacement of the firewire cable or it could be the common power harness on the 002/002R issue. Do a search on power harness and see if your symptoms match. If so, call customer service for a free replacement power harness.
