Default Please locate the folder were PlugIns can be found:

Hi,

(i don't speack english verry well)

each time I start PT LE 5.2.1cs1 ... I have the same message (Please locate the folder where PlugIns can be found)

each time, I select the folder (it is on the good folder wen it ask me that), but it ask me again the next and next time, "please locate..."

the first time I known this problem it was when I was formated et partition my hard disc, copy and after doing this, re-copy all my disc on my new partition.

my question is :

How can I say to ProTool once time only where are my plug-ins to let it know and don't ask me again tje next time I start it ?

(sorry if I am ificulte to understand )

Have you tried making sure the plug-ins folder is in the right place? It should be in the DAE folder, which sits in your hard drive's system folder. This is probably too obvious, but sometimes those are the easiest things to overlook.

LV, does PT find the plugins every time?
Are they available in the plugins/audiosuite menus?
If they are, then something is strange here.
Maybe trashing PT preferences would help?

Yes, it is in the DEA folder, and at the right place, as before having this probleme...
they are available in the plugins/audiosuite menus too, and PT find the plugins every time but just one think, when I strat PT, it asking to me to locate the plug-ins, and the dialogue-box PT is on the good folder when he asking me that, I just have to select it.

For an over precision: for my hold sessions, recording before this problème, when I open it, it ask meto locate the audio files, but... when I select the correct files, it say me the file is not the good file, so I accept to use this because I know there are the good files dor the session, Once time I doing this, it don't ask me again to locate, but, for my plug-ins, and only for my Waves PlugIns, it ask my every time.

I'll trying to re-install my plugIns from the CD to sea if it better.

thank you verry mutch.
