Back on topic - in both 10.3.6 and 11 demo I get in the MIDI input devices window all the ports on my MOTU MIDI Timepiece AVUSB. I also have as written here: Eleven Rack, External and Eleven Rack, Rig. No numerics like posted here. Sorry I can't get a screen shot of it to post here but you should get the idea.

Also clicking on the lock which used to be the tuner in 10.3.6 doesn't do anything in PT11. I've also never gotten the double 11R business people are talking about here (looking for a second 11R).

I think I understand what you mean - are you saying that in MIDI Input Device you have something listed as "ELEVEN RACK ,RIG"? Is that checked?

Oh, can you LOAD RIG FROM COMPUTER?

It looks like OSX is working fine with PT11 and 11R, we just have some issues on the Windows side.

Last things first:
Yes I can load rigs from the computer. Just hit save on the 11R and it's in there.
Yes in MIDI input device I do have an entry for
DTXM12 (my Yamaha electronic drum instrument connected to a port on my MOTU MIDI Timepiece AVUSB)
Eleven Rack, External
Eleven Rack, Rig
and all the rest of the ports from my MOTU MIDI Timepiece AVUSB

Just an update - on a fresh install of Win 8 Professional, PT 11, and the 1.1.6 driver, everything worked as it should. I do not have an [emulated] MIDI port, and am able to successfully load embedded Rig settings, as well as load the Rigs from the computer.

FYI - the lock icon is for "lock to tempo" for delay/mod effects (though the tooltip does incorrectly display "Guitar Tuner Button" on both Mac and PC).

Is this with a co-install of 10.3.6?

Were any WINDOWS 8 updates applied?

Any idea why I would be having "Emulated", not just me, others on Win8 have said the same thing. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver, it stays the same.

Do you think it has something to do with integrated audio turned ON - in BIOS?

Any steps you think I should try - besides uninstalling and re-installing Windows 8 because I would have to re-install Windows 7 too since I have an Upgrade License for Windows 8.

AND just to add, I get "2-Eleven Rack" listed in 10.3.6 as well.

I though that's what it was. Any way that could be change back to TUNER? That would be much more useful to me. Not sure what others think.

One more thing, when you say "everything" does that include LOAD RIG FROM COMPUTER and LOAD ALL RIGS FROM COMPUTER

And I'll just say it again in case it was missed.

I do now have the mini window working pretty well. I can change rigs, adjust volume, mute, and I DO get embedded rigs since un-ticking the "Eleven Rack" in MIDI INPUT.

The only thing that is not working is Load Rig From Computer.

Is there some setting or preference I should try changing, like the root folder for plugin presets or something?

That's true. So may developers would rather hide their heads in the sand about AAX 64 bit support. I kept it civil with Angus when I could have gone WAY overboard.
