Are you using the Command 8 as the audio interface, or just as a control surface? AFAIK, the latter in impossible?

I was using a command|8 since I moved from my Pro Control....and it is simply a control surface and works great for PT12.

It is not an interface and will have to be setup in the peripheral setup.

If your on windows it will most likely need a driver.

The driver seems to installed when you install pro tools. There was no driver installation when I started it the first time.
Only the setup in perpherals....
I think it can be used as a monitor controller, but I so far I use it as a control surface.
Updated to PT 12.7 yesterday and still its ok.
And yes, it was a really good deal :)
