Default PT 6 Mac Os X Digi 001 and MIDI interface

Hi :

Is there anything wrong with PT 6 Mac OS X and the midi interface from the Digi 001 hardware?

Though the audio part works properly, there's no way for me to make the MIDI interface work.

Thanks for your help

I have the same problem.
I've installed the Core Audio Driver, but I have uninstalled it. During uninstalling process I received a warning that says that some components couldn't be remove.
May be that that is the problem.
How can I do?
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Gigi

Yeah, I'm in the same boat- tried to uninstall core audio and still can't get MIDI to work via 001.

Digi, can you give us a step-by-step process for uninstalling C.A. and gaining Midi control back?

When core audio is installed the installer moves the 001 MIDI drivers to a seperate folder. It say something like moving unused drivers to /Applications/Digidesign/Unused Drivers or something similar. Try moving that driver back to the original location or reinstall Pro Tools after removing core audio. Even better pick up an external MIDI interface and have the best of both worlds or "Wait" for digi to fix the problem with core audio and it's MIDI drivers.

Hope this helps.

Thank you carouzal , everything is ok now. I put the DIOOSXMIDIDriver.plugin back in "Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers " Folder and it works.
Thank you very much
Ciao
Gigi
