i was just wondering if anybody knows whether or not the digi 001 system will run well on a athlon xp system with a pure via kt133a chipset. any cures for my ignorance would be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot(assuming of course, i get a reply)

Yes it does and it runs even better on the AMD761 chipset. Specifically the GA7DX and A7M266 motherboards.

oh i didnt know you could use the other chipsets, are the digidesign compatibility lists just out of date?

No, they are up to date. We just aren't getting alot of support on these new motherboards even though they are the best performers right now.

hey thanks alot after reading more of the posts i think the athlon xp is the way to go. hopefully the company realizes that soon too.
