Mbox 2 Pro, pt11, windows 8.1 hardware not recognized.

Hi all,

Im running an mbox 2 pro, with pt11 on windows 8.1
Windows recognizes and can use my interface.
Protools will not. I can boot up protools using my onboard sound card and it even sees the hardware (mbox 2 pro is listed on the hardware page) but I cant assign anything in the I/O setup to the mbox 2 pro.

I've gone through the windows 8 optimizations, dug through every forum post and suggestion I could find. Protools will run fine with onboard soundcard. So I fairly certain pt is having trouble accessing my interface.

I've tried running the most current drivers and pt updates. Tried rolling back to older versions of the driver and pt 11.2. Always the same results.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am suffering from the same issue, however with an Mbox 2. I'd appreciate assistance.
