Film Composer OMF to PT 5.11
I'll be receiving an OMF from a Film Composer and am using DT 1.0 for the conversion. My question:
I'm assuming the Avid session will show up as a 24 fps session in DigiTranslator 1.0. When I convert to a PT session do I convert to a 30fps, then re-set to 29.97fps + pulldown or do I keep it at a 24fps then reset to 29.97 + pulldown. Does it make any difference. All a little fuzzy to me. Thanks for any help! |

Re: Film Composer OMF to PT 5.11
I've never tried it any other way, but I've always been successful if I:
1. leave it at 24fps in DigiTtrans1.0 2. change session to 29.97/pulldown in ProTools. ..done it thousands of times.. |
