Default MBox2 Mini incompatible?

I have recently upgraded from ProTools 8 to 11 and have not been able to stream my MBox 2. I have an iMac - OS X 10.9.2 - Mavericks. The processor is a 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 4GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

My library shows that the Digidesign software is incompatible. Does this mean I have to look for a new interface or is there a set of upgrades [drivers] available? I'm just an indie musician and a bit of a neophyte at all this. I could do with some good advise. Thanks. Ian

It should work. Did you download and install the driver? With LE8, that was part of the installer, but since 9, drivers are a separate download/installer

Thanks, Dave. Much appreciated. Where do I look for the drivers? Avid is a bit of a labyrinth!

EDIT: N/M, I linked to the Mbox 2 drivers, not the Mini

Thanks for this but when I went to the page it says that Pro Tools 11 does not support OS X 10.9.5 [Mavericks]. Any ideas?

That note is out of date. There are Pro Tools updates that are qualified with Mavericks and Yosemite:http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...m-Requirements

I own a mbox2 mini and mbox2, both run on usb.

I connected them to PT7 and 11, all ok.

both mbox models serve as a dongle to run PT7

I have down loaded HD_Driver_11_3_1_Mac_84149.dmg but still doesn't show up in Macintosh HD menu or in the menu for Playback Engine on PT. I'm a neophyte at this. Am I missing s step in the process? I have the icon for the download on my desktop.
