Upgrade from Pro Tools M-Powered 7 to PT11 Student edition?
Hi there,
Sorry if this has been asked already, but I'm trying to figure out if I can succeed in my titular goal... I finally need to move on from good ol' PT7, cause I have hired out an apogee ensemble, and will soon be buying an apollo... So, does anyone know which software I should get? I understand I should be able to upgrade, but to upgrade to a student edition (I am a full-time student), do I need to already have a student edition? (I have a stand version of M-Powered 7)... To simplify (I hope): An upgrade to a student edition should cost the least, but I don't know if I am eligible... So if the toss up is between an upgrade, or a student edition, it would seem to be a matter of which is cheaper. advTHANKSance, - Ryan |

There is no upgrade to a Student version, it is an entry path for Students
So you need to buy it outright from a proper vendor pending that you are attending an approved institution
