C/24 master record issue

Normally I don't track live bands and VI's at the same time but I did this weekend. When the band was ready to track a song I hit the master record button to arm all the tracks. Well it armed all the AUDIO tracks but didn't arm the Midi Instrument track, had to hit the record button on the track itself. Oddly, when all the tracks were armed, including the Midi Instrument track the master record button turned ALL of the record enable buttons OFF.

Not a show stopper but I almost lost a midi take. OSX 10.5.8 PT 8.01, yes it PPC.
