AVID MC creates illegal file names?

Hi,

has anyone seen AAFs (external MXF media) from AVID MC that contain illegal files names leading to a PT error saying the the file needs to be copied & renamed to work with PT?

Does the AVID MC create file names with characters that are illegal for PT?

Never seen this before.
