How and can I link a memory location to a region?

for example if I move a region can the marker that is at that time, move with the region?

I think that's not going to happen. Markers need to be dragged for moving them(at least I have never known another way).

You can't move a marker directly, but you can cut and paste, or copy and paste. I prefer to cut and paste.
  • select the region(s)
  • shift-click in the marker ruler
  • cut (X)
  • enter new location
  • paste

If you're not using a grid for anything else at the moment, you can choose to have the grid be defined by region boundaries, then in Grid mode, drag the marker near the beginning of the region and it will snap to it. Or you could move the marker first, then snap the region to it.

Yeah, that's a cool one too. I seem to forget that grid mode can be configured this way. Thanks.
