Hanging on Startup...until...

Hello.

Long time no post.

Quick one. After upgrading to the latest version for OS9 Pro Tools hangs at startup while loading Realverb. So when I remove the plugin from the DAE folder everything is fine, except I cant use Realverb of course. Can someone help me get it back to working order?

I think its Realverb version 1.0

I have trashed PT & DAE prefs to no avail.

Anyone have an explanation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im using the 32 trk beta in OS9. So..i went back and used a previous version, 5.1.1 i think, loaded up the Realverb 1.0 again(in the DAE folder) and...nothing. Still hangs.

So...its wasnt just upgrading to the newer PT(although that IS when it happened). Something has happened to the Realverb plug for some reason. It no longer works. I got it free with my PT back in 2000. Ive lost the install CD since, etc. Not sure what to do. Should it have been upgraded? Maybe i could contact Sweetwater, they have proof that it was purchased.

Any help?

Hey I had the same problem when I bought the 002.I was also using OS 9 and PT 5.3.2.The thing is that its the new DAE that is not compatible with realverb.Try putting your old DAE see if that works or try to download latest version of realverb.

Hey man.

Thanks for the reply. I hadnt thought of that and swore that it was gonna be the fix. But...when i got home and tried DAE 5.0.1 and 5.1 (two old ones/now using 5.1.1), neither one worked.

I guess i'll have to resort to trying to get an updated version of Realverb, not sure how thats gonna go. Ive had no luck searching online. I do have a reverb that i like more, but i am remixing an old session that used Realverb and was looking more for consistency.
