S1 delay in sensing fader touch after starting playback

Hi,

Brand new S1 with firmware updated. I am doing Volume automation in Touch mode and am stopping and starting regularly to redo sections. However as soon as I press play and put my finger on the fader it takes about two seconds before registering that I'm touching it, almost like it's in Preroll (which it isn't.) If I continue playing and release and touch it senses straightaway, but for some reason struggles to do so without exception every time I have just started playback.

I also have Eucon connectivity issues in that manual says to start up S1 before starting Mac, but time and again Eucon doesn't sense S1, restart Eucon Applications no good either, the only thing that seems to work is to shut off S1 and back on while Eucon software is running.

Couple of things, Try the automation writing before ever opening EuControl Window and see if its instant. Then open EuControl (specifically the softkey window) and see if it slows. The way to get out of this is to restart EuControl and not open it.

For 20.4 we have improved the above and also the startup of S1. I think the guide is wrong saying turn the S1 on first, it can get an IP address early and it might not be the correct one. I would startup the Mac/PC first and EuControl.
