Default Pro Tools First - 32-bit or 64-bit application?
I am currently using Pro Tools First, version 2020.9.0. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this version of Pro Tools First is a 32-bit or 64-bit application.

64bit. Pro Tools has been 64bit since version 11.0.

Don't be confusing a 64 bit program with 64 bit recording. These 2 things are not related.

Right, albee1952. I was interested in only the bit rate of the program, and not the recording bit rate. Thanks for the input.

Then there is also this thing called 64 bit native mixer, also called double precision. But as said, since PT11 everything except audio files have been 64 bit.

Of course, almost every modern software is going to be 64 bit as all modern OS are 64 bit
