Click track/plugin for PT5.1 TDM?

Is it possible to create a click track or is there a metronome plugin available for good old PT5.1 TDM system.

Anything but a solution with an external midi device would do, thanks.

I'm not sure if you can still get your hands on it, but IK Multimedia had a free version of sampletank that a lot of people used. You may also look around and see if you can find somebody selling Soft Samplecell cheap. Also, most of the old Mix systems were sold were Access Virus bundled with them. Really if you have any virtual instrument, you can configure it to be your click sound generator.

Well, as I also have M-Powered with PT7.3. that came with Xpand, would it be possible to use that one with the old system?
I already tried (with not that much hope in mind) to copy the Click plugin from the new one to the old ones plugins folder but that obviously didn´s do the trick.

How about getting the PPC Mac version of the Xpand and having the iLok attached? Would it work? (don´t know where to get one though)

No. Nothing from a current system running OS X is going to work on the outdated legacy systems like that. Your only option is going to be to go grab an old copy of the plug-ins I mentioned. It might take some legwork on your part, but I'm sure you can get it going for little or no cost.
