S3L Stagebox PSU defective

Hi

Just wonder if I'm the only one with defective stagebox power supplies.

Since buying S3L-X, 2 years ago, 3 power supplies went off. Two within the guaranty, just last week one more.

Fans are not hided, case front&back stays open, no special heat.

Any ideas?

Haven't seen that one. We recently did run into a situation where HDX card wen't bad in the engine in such a way, that in certain situation some plugins generated loud noise. And the weird thing is, the replacement card we got from Avid was bad as well. Only the second card they sent was OK. Having a closer look we noticed that newly released E3 has a full HDX card sized foam support under it while the original E3 did not. Looks like Avid added the foam for some reason, possibly cause damage to the cards started happening too often, possibly due vibration created microscopic cracks.
