PT 8.0.1 doesnt recognise Oxygen 49

Pro Tools LE 8.0.1

Controller
M-Audio Oxygen 49 3rd Gen Blue

Problem
1. In Pro Tools i go to Setup > Peripherals > Midi Controllers and try to setup the keyboard. Type lets me choose M-Audio Keyboard but Recieve From and Send To only show "none" in the drop down menu.

2. Nothing shows up in my Midi Input either.

3. I have tested Oxygen 49 with Midi-Ox and it is recognised. Oxygen 49 appears in my device manager and drivers are installed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the exact same problem, but running 8.0.3.

We're going to need a bit more info to help you - OS version, etc.

Can you visit the Help Us Help You thread for details about what we need to know and post the relevant info?

The first thing I'd try is right-clicking on Pro Tools and choosing 'Run As Administrator'...

When i press a key i hear sound, but how do i get the keyboard to actually key in the notes i press (like when i use the pencil tool)?

You have to record on the track, just like you do with an audio track.
