Elastic Audio Crashing
I just upgraded to 2019.6 Ultimate from PT 10HD. I have a new(old) super powerful machine and fresh installs of everything. In some cases I'm blown away by the additional horse power, while also noticing that things are not as stable as I would have thought.
I'm on a 2010 Mac Pro 12 core 3.46GHz with 48GBs RAM. Running OS 10.14.6 I'm just trying to do some elastic audio on a five track drum performance and I'm getting the spiny ball and it never recovers after just deleting warp markers. This keeps happening, it's crashed about 10 times on me. Good thing it reloads fast. I've got auto-backup set for 1 minute! It's a 44.1kHz session with 10 tracks in it. Buffer set to 256 samples. My CPU is at 4%. The machine is barely doing a thing. I've also had a couple 9093 errors randomly with no CPU spike showing in the system usage. Is there some system optimizations that maybe I missed that has an affect on elastic audio? Thanks for any insight. Last edited by TheFilterLab; 10-03-2019 at 09:01 PM. Reason: correction |

Re: Elastic Audio Crashing
Well it seems that after deleting the analysis markers it's now stable. Hasn't crashed since I did that. So hopefully that was the fix.
