Where are you trying to import from?

Why haven't you updated to PT11.3.1? Your sig file shows PT11.1.3

Thanx for the response!

Pro Tools doesn't seem to care where I'm importing from. The message comes up as soon as I click, "Import Audio File". It doesn't go past that stage.

I am indeed on V 11.3.1. I forgot to update the signature. Sorry about that!

Try moving the audio files to the desktop. Then drag&drop into the session(instead of using the Import command)

This is a known issue. Avid is not going to fix it. Your three options are:
  1. Revert your OS to Yosemite v10.10.5
  2. Upgrade to Pro Tools v12.3.1 (or later)
  3. Use drag-and-drop instead of the Import dialog

I don't know that this is an Avid issue alone to fix as audio import in Digital Performer is problematic as well. I'm thinking it's more an Apple problem.

The question would be, then, whether it has been fixed in V 12.

This issue does not exist in V 12.3.1 or later.
