Great Idea=wish=Automation!
Ever been confused when you have two channels side by side, one has automation and the other doesn't. Move the faders, one stays, the other jumps to reading automation. Here's a solution:
Default the channels to AUTO-OFF, and have them automatically default to AUTO-READ when there is automation to playback. If there is no automation written (or drawn) there is nothing to play back, so the channel can just be in AUTO OFF!!! The new system would be two channels side by side, one in read, the other in off, so you know what the faders will do before you even hit play! Why didn't i think of this years ago? |
