Default Net work Device Browser(greyed out) & S3 I/O!

Im trying to use the i/o on the s3, everything non i/o seems to work perfect. Following the directions in the s3 manual it asks you to open the audio/midi app and click on windows, from the top drop down menu and then select "Network Device Browser", but mines greyed out.

WHY?

How do I use the i/o on my s3?

Did you start S3 first, and then your Mac?
Do Eucon recognize the S3?
You should be able to see and select S3 from the Network Device Browser.

Sorry, I don't know...

Did you figure this out? I am having the same issue. The S3 works as intended as a controller, but Network Device browser is greyed out.

Is the S3 directly connected, and does your Mac support AVB? (Thunderbolt equipped Macs do, but not all Ethernet adapters do.)

If your S3 is connected to a hub you'll need it to also support AVB.

Thank you for posting. That is my problem. I'm on a 2012 Mac Pro.
