Default New computer build with 2 os

Hey guys. I'm having a new computer built... Since I have studio one and pro tools 11, I wanted to have 2 separate hard drives, one with Windows 10 for studio one and one Windows 7 for pro tools 11(legacy mixes)....
Now my question is can I have all my plugins on a 3rd hard drive and then point where needed?

On a new build, ditch hard drives for NVMe SSDs. Keep it simple and use W10 for both DAW apps. Upgrade to PTools 2019, which can open your existing PT11 sessions. Plugs should be installed to boot drive.

Yeah thanks for the suggestion but upgrading to pt2019 and paying almost 800 Canadian for software that I'm trying to leave behind is quite a waste of money..... Hence my original question.

PT doesn’t let you specify a different directory for plug-ins, so no, you can’t put them on a shared drive.

Are you sure that PT11 won't run? I have Windows 10 here and can run PT 10(I have that installed along with PT2019)

11 runs fine on Windows 10. Every version back to 8.05 will run on Windows 10.
