Default Pro Tools M-Powered 8 demo?

Hello all

I am very keen on trying out Pro Tools M-Powered 8 as I need to make a decision whether I am going for PT, Vegas or Nuendo.

But I can't find a Pro Tools demo/trial version.
Any news on that? Is it going to be released, or is it already available somewhere?

Pro Tools looks like the best solution for me, but I am not going to buy anything without having a go with it first. So any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you

Found this, but it seems to go nowhere.

Yeah exactly... I found similar 'links' but they all lead to nothing.

On the M-audio site there is the 7.4 demo...

I just downloaded it, installed it, then tried to run it, without success. I double click the icon, but does nothing. Any Ideas why it will not run?

I have Win XP SP3
A laptop Core 2 Duo T5250 (1.5Ghz)
M-audio Fast Track USB

Thanks

I read it on another post, it seems that Internet explorer 8 was the cause. I uninstalled it ,then Protools Demo worked... Weird!

Of course this is just my opinion...and I do not work for Digidesign, but as a former Steinberg program user, Pro-Tools is better. For me, preferrably M-Powered, because if I need to use Cubase (or Nuendo in your case) I can because the M-Audio audio/ midi interface works with both.

But I literally feel invincible with Pro Tools lol There's nothing Pro-Tools can't do. It's a hell of a lot more organized than most programs out there.
