Installing Mbox2 Win7 64bit drivers WITHOUT Protools 8 - Have you done this? :-)
Hi Guys (and gals!)
I am wanting to install my MBox2 on my brand spankin' new Windows 7 64bit desktop computer. Thing is - I have the old Protools 7 disc which I know doesn't work with W7. What I was wondering is - is this possible? Any help/instructions/etc welcome. Thanks, Graeme |

You could buy LE 8... or dual boot an XP partition.

Do I really really need PT8LE to do this?
I'm happy to go ahead and buy it if it does - but will it really work, and can I run other software (such as Ableton via ASIO) and use the Mbox2? Or is it a "your mileage may vary" situation? (also I'm over dual/triple boot systems!) Last edited by grasta; 09-01-2010 at 07:56 PM. Reason: added text |
