Default PTColor Name Entry for the slider at the bottom

I'm guessing this isn't what it's called, but in Dark Mode the slider at the bottom of the screen that moves you left and right through the timeline in the edit window is too dark to see.

Does anybody know what it's called in the PTColor file so I can change it?

THANKS!

PT 2020.12 Windows 10

The area, that long strip at the bottom or side of a window is called the "Scroll Bar" and when the window shows only a portion of the available horizontal or vertical content, then you will see that thing inside the Scroll Bar which is usually called the "Scroller". Draggin the Scroller along the Scroll Bar lets you scroll the visual content on the window.

However, these are the terminology in macOS, so I don't know if Windows is using different terms.

Thanks! It is the same name for Windows 10. I opened a ticket. When in dark mode zoomed out the slider is almost invisible. I recently edited the PTColor file so I could set that groups were turned off in the edit window based on another post. Hope there is a setting for this!

Things to consider:
1-Dark Mode is new and is likely to get improved over the next few releases(which may help your issue)
2-Adjusting your screen may help(contrast and brightness settings)
3-If all else fails, go back to Classic mode, which may look "old" but certainly works
4-If your mouse has a scroll wheel(if it doesn't, I would get a better mouse), holding SHIFT will allow the scroll wheel to move horizontally thru your timeline(something I use way more than actually clicking on the scroll bar)

Thanks! Are you saying there is not a setting for this in the PTColor file?

Sadly, it's not adjustable from the .txt file. It's an OS thing and built into one of the non-editable .idb files.
I'm sure that there's a way to get inside those puppies but I don't think that it would be a great idea.

Sigh...THANKS! I will live with it then. The regular mode is just way bright in dark room for a couple hours every day.
