Default Selecting Between Markers or memory locations

Say I have created 2 memory locations. Now I want to select the area between these two markers. How is this done? Is there a keyboard shortcut? If not, how can I copy the separate times from each location to the start and end sections of the counter window? There is nothing covering this in the PT Reference guide.

There are a few ways to do this... in the timeline you can click on the yellow icon for the memory location, then hold shift and click on the second memory location. This isn't my favorite method because it's fairly easy to accidentally drag one of the markers.

You also can use the memory locations window (Command+numpad"5"). This brings up a window with the memory locations listed. Here you can click on a location, then hold shift and click on the second location.

After performing either method, you should see the selection highlighted in the timeline.

Thanks! I have no idea why these techniques were not explained in any handbook or in the reference guide. I felt so dumb not being able to figure this one out.
