Up for sale is my vintage/classic NTI "Air Band" stereo mastering equalizer from Night Technologies (now MAAG Audio). The eq is in good shape with some of the usual "rack rash" and scratches on the top side that aren't visible once it's racked. The sound is clean and quiet with no noisy pots or switches. MAAG audio has re-issued the EQ 3 (not this unit) in the 500 series format, but this is the original 90's era eq that predates them all. I heard this unit at the AES in NYC the year it came out. Soon after, I acquired this one for myself. I use it mainly on the stereo buss and for the odd overdub, but I'm selling it now to fund new gear purchases. As I said, the unit functions just as it should. It has XLR and 1/4" connections on the rear. If you're in NYC, you can come by and demo it. I will ship worldwide, but customs fees/duties are the responsibility of the buyer. No matter where it ships, I insist that is has be fully insured. The choice of carrier and shipping level is up to the buyer, and the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and PayPal fees. I will take great care in packing the unit. The unit is as is, and there are no returns if you happen to "change your mind." No dreamers, tire-kickers, low-ballers or wanna-be's. I am not desperate to sell this--that means no silly offers! They will be ignored. This is truly a unique eq with unconventional filter types. If you've ever used one, then you know what it's capable of--it's not a surgical/correctional parametric. It's more of an enhancer, and the curves are very smooth and gentle. It excels at adding presence to sources, especially vocals. It's probably very phase coherent like the original advertising description claimed. This model is supposedly superior to the single-spaced "EQ-3" variant, but I've never compared the two.
