Default Protools 10.3.6. not downloading

hey,

to be ready for protools 11 (native) i wanted to download 10.3.6 but it seems the download is corrupted, because i couldn't get it to start and i was trying for 2 hours.

is this a known problem? i couldn't find any info.

My guess its due to avid updating the download page yesterday:

You don't say whether you're trying to download the Mac or Windows version. Either way check to see that the download has the right extension for your operating system. Sometimes that gets dropped off and all you should have to do is to add it.

You are on a .... Mac right

The filesize is well over 2 GB so check your recent downloaded files folder and delete any PT i staller you downloaded and after you cleaned house in that folder try a fresh download of PT10.3.6 and report back if you need any help.

Best of luck
Chris

If you click on my profil you can see my operating system:
Its a mac pro 2008
So yes i was downloading the mac version, i always download these file in a new folder and never had any problems. I tried deleting previous downloads in a different folder, but this didn't work either.
The java app always told me that the file i was trying to download was corrupted.

Thx for the help

I just downloaded it to check, and had no problem opening it on Mac OS 10.8.4.
  1. Check to see if the file you download is named Pro_Tools_10_3_6_Mac_79569.dmg
  2. Get Info on the file and check to see if the file size is this or close to it: 2,499,367,221 bytes (2.5 GB on disk)
  3. If the above is correct, try opening it with Disk Utility in your Applications/Utilities folder

Not everybody checks a profile and in any case it's helpful to post what system you're doing this on in the post itself - either way it's usual to post what system you're trying this on in a post. Anyway - try a different browser as I think Apple turned off Java in Safari. And make sure you version of OSX is up to date which your profile doesn't say which version you have.
