Do the vocal files show up when you look in the associated session or backup's Audio folder? If they do, maybe your session is corrupt. Try importing the vocal files into the session or start from a fresh session and import everything you need.. You might end up needing to move a few things around for timing's sake, but at least your week's worth of work isn't lost (I hope) . Hopefully I'm not insulting your sensibilities ... good luck.

Just thought of something else ... what was your disk allocation set to for those vocal tracks? Could they have mistakenly been allocated to a different drive? This would also explain the backups not having the files either. (if you simply drag copied the whole drive) Also, if you remove some hotswap drives without unmounting them, then reinserting them, you can destroy the drives catalog data, thus 'losing' files. Again, hope I'm not telling you something you already know.
cheers

<<<i'am using Another hot swap Hard Drive ...>>>

This is not considered backing up!!!

Use only tape (DDS or AIT etc) or DVD RAM or CDR to back up your work!!!

Just in case you are not aware of this:
Unerase doesn't work at its best if you don't have the filesaver extension installed and working on your system drive. This particular extension actualises your drives everytime you start up and/or shutdown your system and keeps track of everything that is moved , deleted, initialized and other so called horrors On the other hand the filesaver extension is a kind of Pain in the A... together with PT( so I'm told. )

Have you tried looking on your startup disk? It's amazing where files can end up. Someone said check disc allocation under the setups menu. Doesn't that give you any clues?
