Default Dear digi, please provide a list of all MIDI bugs

Please Digi,
Will you please post a list of MIDI bugs in 7.3.1
I am starting to loose my mind, I am experiencing a few "show stoppers" and I need to know that I don't have some weird MIDI anomaly.

PLEASE PLEASE..

I've noticed something from 7.3 and still happening in 7.3.1 cs2.
I have been able to duplicate this problem with both of my setups(G5 and MacBook Pro) using both a midi interface(midisport 4x4) or using the usb of my midi keyboard.
I have tried using M-audio Axiom 25 and also a no brand midi keyboard with the same results.
Whenever I try to record on an instrument track, I enable countoff.
While its counting off, sometimes I'll play something on the keyboard just to make sure I have my fingers on the right notes.
The data I just played during countoff gets recorded on the track as small "x" that you need to zoom in to see.
Of course, if you played something during the countoff and while its recording, then the data you played during countoff and the data you played when its actually recording will be overlapped.
I started noticing this when some notes tend to clip. That's when I found out that they are overlapped.
Then I tried to play something during the countoff but not playing during the actual recording.
Pressed stop and there they are, those little dots. And if you zoom in, you will see them as little "x"s.
I've called Digi since I got 7.3 and they told me to wait for the cs update.
As far as I know, cs2 didn't get that fixed.
Of course the workaround is to not play something during the countoff, but being such a bad keyboard player, sometimes I need to make sure I have my fingers where they're supposed to be.
Then I'd have to manually slide the notes to reveal the little "x"s and delete them.

I have a few years experience with PT as well. I recently upgraded from 5.3.3 to 7.3.1 I've got a brand new machine: PC Intel Duo core2 Processor with 2Gs of ram. I'm also running a few virtual intruments too.

my Problem is that when ever I try to record midi using my Triton keyboard with midi sport 1x1 interface Pro Tools freezes.

I've updated every driver I can think of but the problem persist. Its not an immediate freeze, instead it usually happens about 10-15 minutes into sequencing. Just when I get in my groove, as I'm sequencing Protools freezes and the last note that was played will remain in play until I restart the PC.

I need some serious help. DIGI were R U?

There's you're problem - you're running an incompatible processor/chipset combination. If you have an Intel processor, you must have an Intel chipset on the motherboard - yours has a VIA chipset.

Recording midi on an instrument track

Punching in at the end of a bar (after the last midi note) PT whipes out the bar previuos to the punch.

Logic is looking better and better every day

more science on the above..

If I punch in before the downbeat (1st beat of the bar) The previous bar is whipped out.. after the downbeat and it's fine.
