Default Get Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard or Wait?

I have $ burning a hole in my pocket and looking at these threads trying to figure out where we stand on the stability of PT LE 8.0.3 and Snow Leopard on a Macbook Pro rig. Interface is Mbox Micro for mixing.

I currently have 8.0.1 running with Leopard 10.5.5 on both a 12" G4 PPC iBook and an Intel iMac. The iBook is fairly stable, but being maxed out at 1.5 Meg of RAM, is painfully slow and not able to support a lot of tracks. The iMac works fine, but is the family computer and not always available for music work.

Please let me know if I should hold off on Snow Leopard and the new Macbook Pro. (I guess I could install Leopard 10.5.5 on the new Macbook Pro, but that seems like a pain and a step backwards). I can limp along okay for the time being with the iBook if the consensus is that it's still to early to be stable.

Thanks,
bilco

I bought the 13.3 three months ago and it "rocks" big time for me. I really don't think I have had one errors since installation.

+1. I upgraded my 2009 Macbook Pro to Snow Leopard and all is good. Except for the annoying CoreMIDIframework folder bouncing in the system tray if I try to use another MIDI program like Logic.
