Re; How to Activate and Download Pro Tools 11

Hello. Any help would be awesome. I just bought the upgrade from PT 9 to 10/11 from a local store. I get the error that the ilok auth is missing. When I go to ilok.com there is no new auth to download. I looked and found the tutorial on how to activate and when I do it one step seems to be missing - http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...t-Pro-Tools-11

What is missing is the part about putting your ilok account info in, I don't/didnt have that step.

My ilok and Avid accounts are linked BTW.

System as follows:

iMac 2.93 intel core 2 duo
10.8.5
8GB ram

Hi Marcus,

I just want to verify if you already sync or register your Pro tools 9 ilok key to your ilok account? Can you also provide us the exact error message? a screenshot will be much more helpful.

Yes PT9 was working on my ilok. I followed the instructions that came with the download card.

You will notice that custome service put in a temp 3 month auth to my ilok account for version 12. I actually need version 10/11 but mostly 10. Is there a reason on why they only put 12?
