this is my first post here
and very exited to joing this interesting forum

i'm looking for help on how to get
the very best (reliable) CPU
just got a used Digi 001 and a Project X SCSI(9GB)
as a trade and only need the CPU to get it rolling

i want to build it myself with the very best parts
so feel free to tech talk.

honestly i'm still a little skeptical to go PC
(compatibility and AMD vs. Pentium issues etc...)
since this is the very first time i'll use Windows
for digital recording etc.
but i might be wrong.

please help a newbie here to get the best out it.
