Default Sound in left side of Headphone

Hey everyone!!!

PTE, MBOX 3, WIN 7 (also I'm a newbie).

I create a blank session and in the options for the session, choose Stereo Mix.

I add a mono instrument track, and the sound is fine. Works wonderful out of both sides of the headphone. If I add a stereo instrument track, get the same result.

But, if I add an audio track, either stereo or mono, sound for that track only comes out of the left side of the headphone.

So, for example, I lay down drums, bass, etc. all instrument tracks and it's great. I go to add my guitar track, which is going trough MBOX 3, and I only hear my guitar through the left side.

Any ideas?

Are you recording your guitar to a stereo or mono audio track? Assuming the guitar is a mono source, it should be recorded to a mono track.

Well...I figured it out....kinda. I rebooted. All is well.

Kinda weird though that it would do that.

Well, there are 2 things to try for any "odd behavior" from PT. 1 is to reboot. the other is to trash prefs and database files(find guitardom's handy Trasher app).
