Best ones in my opinion would be:

Aerosmith, Maschina, AC/DC, and Merge. There are a lot of bands I would like to catch live sometime, but those are the best shows I have ever seen.

I would say mine would be:

1) Tool / A Perfect Circle (of course they aren’t the same, and the shows are very different, but combined I’ve seen them 15 times-maybe obsessive but I think nobody can touch Tool)

2) Mr. Bungle (or basically any band Mike Patton is involved with, I’ve seen him in Mr. Bungle, Faith No More, Tomahawk, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Fantomas and each performance was incredible)

3) Red Hot Chili Peppers (with the exception of one Yellow Cold Banana Peppers non-energetic show where Foo Fighters blew them away, the RHCP’s are great live)

4) Black Sabbath (getting to see the original Sabbath on Ozzfest was a privilege, and now I can die a happy man)

5) Nirvana (yeah, yeah, but a huge influence on me at the time and I’m glad I got to see them at least once)

Of course some of the best have been bands like GWAR, Skinny Puppy, and Genna-torturers.

I agree, Muse is really good live right now. But too bad, hald of the guitars all the keys, some vocal doubles are pre recorded. But non the less they put up an amazing show.
