Is it possible to use pro tools 9 with old mix core cards and 888 interfaces?

Ok, forget digi cards. What about this way - 2 x pcie Lynx AES 16 sound cards (32 I/O total) connected with 4 x 888/24 interfaces in standalone mode ?
