PT compatibility with Media Composer ?
Hi,
my first post here. I am thinking of buying PT LE in addition to the Avid Media Composer but before I got a question regarding compatibility issues: Some times ago there were some discussions after what it seems not to be possible to work with PT LE and Media Composer if both applications are installed on the same partition on the hard drive. Is this still the case or was there a fix for that in the meantime ? I am not sure if this is the right place for this question but I asked this some times ago in the avid forum and got no response. So maybe someone from Digi could clarify if I have to expect problems with both applications on the same partition or not. Thx Jan |

Re: PT compatibility with Media Composer ?
you will get more traction in the Post section but the answer is still separate partitions

Re: PT compatibility with Media Composer ?
Craig is right - separate partitions is currently the only way to go.
