OSX Boot problem

My current problem is that I cannot boot in OSX with the extension chassis powered up. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?
No problems booting in OS 9.2.2. Current setup is Dual G4 (Quicksilver2002) 1GHz, PT Mix+, AV Option, DIGI 13 slot extension chassis.
